Increased safety is provided by the double guard rails that slot into position on the outer edge of the staircase. The 8 step temporary stairs weigh 18kg and can easily and safely be handled and secured in position by a single operative. The 2.65m long staircase is suitable for use between floor to floor levels of 1.75m to 2.15m. The 250kg safe working load allows site operatives to traverse the stairs safely with equipment and materials. The temporary staircase provides safer and quicker low level access than a standard ladder. The anti-slip treads of the staircase are 125mm deep and users of the staircase have the benefit of the double guard rail.
