The 7m Site Access Barrier is the longest manual barrier in our range, providing a robust solution for controlling vehicle access across extra-wide construction site entrances, compounds, industrial yards and other restricted access points.

With its 7 metre barrier arm, this model provides maximum coverage within our standard 3m–7m range. It is particularly suited to larger entrances where a 6m or 6.5m barrier does not provide sufficient coverage.

Despite the longer arm, operation is assisted by gas dampers, helping the operator raise and lower the barrier during regular use. Ergonomic grip handles and the assisted mechanism allow straightforward manual operation without traditional counterweights.

The barrier can be locked in both its open and closed positions, providing a clearly defined physical access-control point for vehicles entering and leaving the site.

Gas-Assisted Manual Operation

The 7m barrier uses gas-assisted dampers to help with raising and lowering the barrier arm.

This design removes the need for traditional counterweights and helps make the longer barrier straightforward to operate during regular use.

Ergonomic grip handles provide a clear operating point, while the assisted mechanism allows the barrier to be operated using a one-handed movement.

Fixing Options

For standard bolt-down installation, M16 anchor shield bolts are included, together with M12 fixings for the end rest.

A root-fixed (concrete-in) version is also available where the barrier needs to be installed into a suitable concrete foundation.

Locking the Barrier

The 7m barrier can be secured in both its raised and lowered positions.

When vehicle access is permitted, the barrier can be raised and locked open. When access needs to be restricted, the arm can be lowered and secured across the entrance.

An external padlock with a 60mm long shackle and three keys is supplied.

End Rest Options

A lockable end rest is supplied as standard to support the end of the 7 metre barrier arm when lowered.

Alternatively, an adjustable-height Pogo Tip Support can be selected. The Pogo support rises with the barrier arm and provides an alternative to a separate fixed end rest.

Colour Options

The standard barrier finish is red and white, providing a highly visible physical barrier across the vehicle entrance.

Alternative colour combinations are also available:

• Blue (RAL 5010) / White
• Green (RAL 6005) / White
