The 6m Site Access Barrier provides a robust solution for controlling vehicle access across wide construction site entrances, compounds, industrial yards and other restricted access points.

With a 6 metre barrier arm, this model is designed for larger openings where shorter manual barriers do not provide sufficient coverage. It creates a clear physical control point that can be used to manage vehicles entering and leaving construction, commercial and industrial sites.

Despite its longer arm, the barrier is designed for straightforward manual operation. Gas-assisted dampers help the operator raise and lower the barrier, while ergonomic grip handles provide a comfortable point of control during regular use.

Fixings

For standard bolt-down installation, M16 anchor shield bolts are included, together with M12 fixings for the end rest.

A root-fixed (concrete-in) version is also available where the barrier pedestal needs to be installed into a suitable concrete foundation.

The appropriate installation method should be selected according to the site, surface and intended application.

Locking

The 6m barrier can be locked in both its raised and lowered positions.

When vehicle access is permitted, the arm can be raised and secured. When the entrance needs to be restricted, the barrier can be lowered and locked across the access point.

An external padlock with a 60mm long shackle and three keys is supplied.

End Rest Options

A lockable end rest is supplied as standard and supports the end of the 6 metre barrier arm when it is in the lowered position.

An adjustable-height Pogo Tip Support is also available as an alternative. This support rises with the barrier arm rather than remaining fixed on the opposite side of the entrance.

Colour Options

The standard barrier finish is red and white, providing a highly visible physical barrier across the vehicle entrance.
