3.5m Manual Site Access Barrier

The 3.5m Site Access Barrier is designed to provide a clear and controlled vehicle access point at construction sites, compounds, industrial premises and other restricted areas. With a 3.5 metre barrier arm, this model provides additional coverage for entrances where a 3m barrier may be too short.

The barrier is manually operated and incorporates gas-assisted dampers, helping the operator raise and lower the arm without the cumbersome traditional counterweight arrangement found on some manual barriers.

Ergonomic grip handles and gas assistance allow the barrier to be operated using a one-handed movement, making it practical for access points that may need to be opened and closed regularly throughout the working day.

Fixings

The standard bolt-down version is supplied with M16 anchor shield bolts, with M12 fixings for the end rest.

A root-fixed (concrete-in) version is also available if the barrier needs to be installed directly into a suitable concrete foundation.

Locking

The barrier can be locked in both the raised and lowered positions, helping site personnel control when vehicles are permitted to pass through the access point.

An external padlock with a 60mm long shackle and three keys is supplied.

End Rest Options

A lockable end rest is supplied as standard. This supports the end of the 3.5m barrier arm when it is in the lowered position.

An adjustable-height Pogo Tip Support is available as an alternative. The Pogo support rises with the barrier arm and can be selected from the product options when ordering.

Colour Options

The standard barrier finish is red and white, providing a highly visible appearance at vehicle access points.

Alternative colour combinations are also available:

• Yellow (RAL 1023) / Black
• Blue (RAL 5010) / White
• Green (RAL 6005) / White
