4m Manual Site Access Barrier

The 4m Site Access Barrier provides a practical way to control vehicle access at construction sites, compounds, industrial premises and other restricted areas. Its 4 metre barrier arm makes this model well suited to medium-width entrances where a shorter barrier does not provide the required coverage.

Designed for manual operation, the barrier incorporates gas-assisted dampers to make raising and lowering the arm easier. This gas-assisted design removes the need for a traditional counterweight arrangement while providing controlled and straightforward operation.

Ergonomic grip handles further assist operation, making the 4m barrier a practical solution for site entrances that may need to be opened and closed regularly throughout the working day.

Fixings

For standard bolt-down installation, the barrier is supplied with M16 anchor shield bolts, with M12 fixings for the end rest.

A root-fixed (concrete-in) version is also available where the installation requires the barrier pedestal to be secured into a suitable concrete foundation.

Locking

The 4m barrier can be secured in both the raised and lowered positions, allowing access to be restricted or granted as required.

An external padlock with a 60mm long shackle and three keys is supplied.

End Rest Options

A lockable end rest is supplied as standard to support the end of the 4 metre barrier arm when lowered.

Alternatively, an adjustable-height Pogo Tip Support can be selected. The Pogo support rises with the barrier arm, removing the need for a separate fixed end rest at the opposite side of the entrance.

Colour Options

The standard barrier finish is red and white, providing a highly visible appearance at the vehicle access point.

Alternative colour combinations are also available:

• Blue (RAL 5010) / White
• Green (RAL 6005) / White
