The 4.5m Site Access Barrier provides a practical solution for controlling vehicle access at construction sites, compounds, industrial yards and other restricted areas. With a 4.5 metre barrier arm, this model is particularly suited to wider entrances where shorter 3m, 3.5m or 4m barriers do not provide sufficient coverage.

Designed for manual operation, the barrier incorporates gas-assisted dampers to assist with raising and lowering the arm. This eliminates the need for traditional counterweights and provides a straightforward method of controlling vehicle access throughout the working day.

Ergonomic grip handles and gas assistance allow the barrier to be operated with a one-handed movement, making it suitable for entrances that may need to be opened and closed regularly.

Fixings

For standard bolt-down installation, M16 anchor shield bolts are included, together with M12 fixings for the end rest.

A root-fixed (concrete-in) version is also available where the barrier needs to be secured into a suitable concrete foundation.

Locking

The barrier can be securely locked in both its raised and lowered positions, allowing vehicle access to be granted or restricted as required.

An external padlock with a 60mm long shackle and three keys is supplied.

End Rest Options

A lockable end rest is supplied as standard. This supports the end of the 4.5 metre barrier arm when it is in the lowered position.

Alternatively, an adjustable-height Pogo Tip Support can be selected. The Pogo support rises with the barrier arm and provides an alternative where a fixed end rest is not preferred.

Colour Options

The standard barrier finish is red and white, providing a highly visible appearance at site entrances and controlled vehicle access points.
